Schedule:

2nd shift (1pm to 9pm) or 3rd shift (9pm to 5am) – overtime and some weekends will be required.

Hourly manufacturing position.

$26.00/hr PLUS $2/hr Shift Premium.

The Line 8 Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the packaging equipment and must be familiar with set‑up and start‑up procedures. This position must support all business systems (QCDSM, ISO, GMP’s) while working in a team environment. If the employee in this position is not assigned to operating, they are assigned to the GL Pool based on plant seniority.

• Learn the safe and accurate operation of the packaging filling equipment.
• Perform set‑up, start‑up and changeover procedures as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting line performance issues related to equipment operation.
• Maintain downtime records during line operation.
• Conduct and document quality checks.
• Clean up equipment after smash‑ups or mis‑feeds.
• Monitor and communicate process or product abnormalities to supervisor, team leader, or line technician.
• Perform sanitation duties for filler equipment and other production equipment as needed.
• Perform period sanitation work as assigned.
• Demonstrate accurate handling and usage of chemicals.
• Analyze cleaner strengths on soaps and sanitizers used in the sanitation process.
• Maintain weight control system to meet Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam policies and procedures.
• Change foil, lids, and cups as required.
• Apply Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling equipment.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Complete required observations and training on time.
• Support plant quality systems.
• Operators may be used on other lines and CMF operations for business needs.
• Learn all three operator positions on the line and rotate through them.
• Cover the line’s call‑ins/vacations yourself if no one is available.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor or team leader.

• English language skills – able to speak, read, and write.
• Perform job duties efficiently and safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds per NIOSH Lifting Equation and apply plant‑approved safe lifting practices for loads over 50 pounds.
• Work in a team environment.
• Adhere to all Kraft Policies and internal Kraft Heinz procedures.
• Work extended hours.
