• Ensure all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality and safety, and follow the appropriate food safety requirements for an accident‑free workplace.
• Verify conformance to customer specifications, including proper application of ingredients/materials.
• Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed.
• Make any adjustments needed to run production efficiently.
• Accurately record any downtime of the line.
• Maintain paperwork.
• Keep machinery maintained in a sanitary condition.
• Recommend measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Follow company policies, GMPs, and perform housekeeping in the area.
• Use required PPE as per assigned duties.
• Follow verbal instructions from the Shift Supervisor and Lead person.
• Be detail‑oriented and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Notify management of any food/people safety or food quality concerns.
• Set up and break down machinery.
• Accomplish all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.

• High school, GED, or equivalent.

• One to three months of food manufacturing or packaging experience.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Be able to work overtime when scheduled.
• Communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant.
• Write and read standard information to fill out company documents.
• Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure, including pounds, ounces, grams, and temperatures.

The employee is exposed to moving equipment in the production area. The work environment is cold. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions when performing sanitation on equipment.

The employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is infrequently required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and wear hearing protection.
