Certifications

Required:

ACLS, BLS

Will take locals at a lower rate

# Beds: 12 + 4 rooms for ICU (average census is 8 patients).

Nurse:

Patient Ratios:
Ratios 1:3-5, ICU 1:3, IMC/PCU 1:3-4, MS1:5, 2 RN in department at all times. Team nursing with RN and LPN to take a total of 7 patients.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients:
Pneumonia/Covid, Post OP- knees, hips, falls.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year of experience excellent patient care great

documentation.

Must have 1 year PCU (MS-Tele experience only not appropriate) or prior ICU experience.

Will accept travel duos. Will accept first time travelers. Must have Cerner experience.

Are RNs required to titrate drips:
Yes.

Common titratable &/or set rate drips:
Amiodarone Heparin- IMCU. Levo, Cardizem, Dobutamine, pressors- ICU.

Floating Requirements:
Yes, not required to float- other option is to go home and lose hours. ED for tasking or take hold patients.

Weekend Requirements::
Every 3rd:
Friday, Sat Sunday.

Holiday Requirements:
Yes, 2 out of 3 Holidays.
