Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer!

What matters most in this role is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around the entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

  Candidates who pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will receive $50 after 60 days of employment and an additional $50 after 90 days.
• Security License:
  Candidates who obtain a valid Security License will receive $50 after 60 days of employment and an additional $50 after 90 days.

• Full-time, Thursday through Sunday, 2nd shift 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Full-time, Tuesday through Friday, 2nd shift 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Full-time, Thursday through Monday, 2nd shift 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Full-time, Thursday through Monday, 2nd shift 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Part-time, Thursday and Friday, 3rd shift 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Part-time, Saturday; 1st shift 5 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wednesday, 1st shift 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Part-time, Monday through Friday, 1st shift 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.
• Part-time, Monday through Friday, 1st shift 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $18.46 / Hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Have a state license if required.
