Concrete Laborer/Finisher
Looking for a concrete laborer or concrete finisher to assist with foundations, wall pours, and flatwork on new commercial, industrial, agricultural, and multi-family construction projects. You will work alongside a team of 3–8 employees, contributing to all phases of concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing.
Hours:
6:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday – Thursday, then a shorter day on Friday) typically working 45+ hours a week
Responsibilities
- Assist with carpentry tasks, including framing, wall construction, and general building work on various types of projects.
- Perform concrete work such as setting forms, placing, finishing, and curing concrete for foundations, flatwork, and other structural elements.
- Support masonry operations, including brick laying, block work, and related masonry finishing tasks.
- Help construct and repair foundations, walls, and flatwork for commercial, municipal, educational, agricultural, and industrial structures.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry, concrete, and masonry assignments.
Essential Skills
- Practical experience or familiarity with concrete work, including forming, placing, and finishing concrete.
- Basic masonry skills, such as brick laying, block work, and masonry finishing.
- Ability to assist with foundations, walls, and flatwork construction in a field environment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and correctly in a construction setting.
- Reliability and commitment to working extended hours during the busy season, typically 48–55 hours per week
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Beaver Dam, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
