The Logistics & Warehouse Manager oversees and directs all aspects of our logistics, shipping, and warehouse operations. This role will manage a team including OTR Truck Drivers, Shipping and Receiving Coordinators, and Material Handlers. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within our logistics and warehouse functions.

* Duties and Responsibilities:
*** Lead, supervise, and develop direct reports: OTR Truck Drivers, Shipping and Receiving Coordinators, and Material Handlers.
* Quote new trucking jobs and develop cost-effective solutions for customer and company transportation needs.
* Identify, negotiate, and schedule profitable backhaul opportunities to maximize fleet efficiency and reduce empty miles.
* Coordinate semi-truck maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles meet DOT inspection and safety requirements.
* Oversee inbound and outbound shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards.
* Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize shipping and receiving processes, storage area utilization, and material handling labor hours.
* Implement best practices for warehouse organization, inventory management, and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with internal departments to support production schedules and customer delivery timelines.
* Maintain accurate records for transportation, maintenance, and warehouse activities; prepare reports as required.
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to transportation and warehousing.

* Qualifications:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
* 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or transportation, including supervisory responsibilities.
* Strong understanding of DOT regulations, trucking operations, and warehouse best practices.
* Proven experience with quoting freight, managing backhauls, and coordinating truck maintenance and compliance.
* Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives in shipping, receiving, and material handling.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
