Forklift Operators - 1st Shift

Position Title:

Forklift Operator

Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday)

company in Beaver Dam, WI.

• Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, transport, and store materials throughout the warehouse
• Perform order picking activities using RF scanners to accurately fulfill customer orders
• Support shipping and receiving operations by processing incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
• Assist with inventory control and warehouse management system transactions
• Ensure accurate handling, storage, and movement of materials
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to improve workflow and operational efficiency
• Perform heavy lifting and material movement using proper lifting techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory processes
• Experience using RF scanners and order-picking systems
• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Ability to work in an extremely cold warehouse environment
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, carry, move, push, and pull materials as required
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
