Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within construction
• Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and GAAP
• Proven experience with job cost accounting, WIP reporting, and project forecasting
• Proficiency with Viewpoint Vista ERP or similar construction-specific software
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
• Independent and collaborative work style in a team setting

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA)
• Experience supporting internal and external audits
• Familiarity with change orders and subcontract documentation

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Construction industry expertise, especially in project costing and WIP management
