Perform pre- and post- operations inspections of assigned equipment to ensure safe and operable condition;
Safely operate and control the material handling equipment to move scrap and load trucks/train cars and feed the shredder;
Maintain yard organization to help meet production goals;
Perform routine maintenance tasks (fueling, lubricating, cleaning) and report defects to supervisor;
Comply with safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
