Location:
Heritage Valley Pediatrics Chippewa.
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:30pm with rotating Saturday (8:00 - 1:00pm). In a PT role, you will be scheduled approximately 16-18 hrs per week. This is an ON-SITE position.
Provides professional pediatric nursing care via telephone triage support for the pediatric practice. Renders professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by providers. Maintains patients' medical records on observations. May assist providers during treatment and examination of patient. Performs necessary follow-up care, instructions and education to the patient.
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred:
- Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing, ACLS
