Contracts Manager
As a contract manager, you will use your negotiation tactics and organizational skills to help manage critical defense missions and acquisition strategies. You will serve as a trusted advisor and valuable team member who finds creative solutions to complex problems.
Your role supports all phases of the acquisition life cycle: strategic discussions for future contract opportunities, analysis of solicitations and teaming agreements, negotiation, and contract administration. You will work closely with the defense technology contracts team and have opportunities to mentor junior staff.
What You’ll Work On- Perform a wide variety of contract administration functions in support of Air Force and other DoD clients, including proposal development, cost strategies, modifications, and contract compliance.
- Analyze solicitations for potential risks and recommend proposal strategies.
- Advise on risk issues, proposal strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Negotiate and administer contracts independently with U.S. government customers and subcontracts with large and small business contractors across a broad range of contract types.
- Negotiate teaming agreements, non‑disclosure agreements, and organizational conflict‑of‑interest plans.
- Experience with contract pre‑proposal efforts, RFP or RFQ support, proposal submission, and post‑award contract administration.
- Experience working directly with industry or government procurement officials.
- Experience with various contract types:
Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Time and Materials, or Incentive Fee contracts. - Experience reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for risk and mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Experience negotiating contracts with industry partners, including non‑disclosure and teaming agreements.
- Ability to interpret federal regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Ability to manage multiple critical internal and external deadlines.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Either an HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with contract management, or a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience with contract management.
- Ability to collaborate on intellectual property protection, conflict‑of‑interest issues, and sensitive data protection.
- Top Secret clearance.
- NCMA Professional Certification such as CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM.

CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
