Lead Kindergarten Teacher ) – The Goddard School in Beavercreek seeks a full‑time Lead Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year.

As Lead Kindergarten Teacher you will be responsible for a wide range of classroom activities, including lesson planning, curriculum development, classroom management, and coordination of daily operations for assigned classes. You will plan, present and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment, work directly with children and parents to provide quality customer service and maintain strong communication with parents via multiple channels.

  • Maintain classroom management, safety, and indoor/outdoor engagement
Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Ohio curricular standards
  • Use technology (Smart Board, iPads, computers) to enhance learning
  • Build relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
  • Address stressful situations calmly while multi‑tasking to ensure smooth school operations
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. as required for handling children and facilitation of programs
  • Meet background check eligibility
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
    • 1‑2 years of prior experience preferred
    • Completed state‑required pre‑service training
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Patience, creativity, and energetic approach to education
    • Familiarity with Ohio state curricular standards
    • Prior technology experience (Smart Board, iPads, computers) is a real plus
