Materials Scientist

Radiance Technologies is searching for a talented, experienced Materials Scientist to join our team as a self‑starter with excellent technical skills to research and develop tools and techniques to support materials programs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field.
• Active TS/SCI.

• 5+ years of documentable technical experience.
• Conducting research and analysis on structures and systems to characterize integrated materials.
• Designing and devising testing methods.
• Experience with nondestructive inspection experimental methods.
• Experience with modeling composite material response and/or material signal interactions using analytical or numerical approaches.
• Characterization and analysis of materials to support the assessment of system and subsystems.
• Research and analysis of supply chain to determine sources of supply for materials.

• Develops new testing methods and capabilities using lab based experimental skills including running and programming hardware, experiment design.
• Experience with nondestructive inspection experimental methods.
• Experience with modeling composite material response and/or material signal interactions using finite element, analytical or numerical approaches.
