Job Description Summary
The Unison, a GE Aerospace Company, Military Officer Leadership Program (MOLP) offers an exceptional opportunity for high‑performing Military Officers to launch their careers into impactful leadership roles within the aerospace industry. This 2‑year rotational program provides hands‑on experience across multiple functional areas including supply chain, quality, commercial operations, engineering, and continuous improvement. All rotations are based in a single geographical area to develop the skills and expertise needed to thrive as an aerospace leader.
Job DescriptionUnison is the leading provider of differentiated engine controls, accessories, and performance monitoring solutions in the Aerospace, Defense & Space segments, supplying OEMs and aftermarket customers.
Position is available in Beavercreek, OH or Dayton, OH. Rotational assignments may include:
- Supply Chain & Quality Operations: coach and develop team members, optimize processes, implement lean methodologies, and ensure compliance, efficiency, production targets, and on‑time delivery. Lead efforts to maintain and improve product and process quality through compliance, audits, corrective actions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Commercial Programs & Sales: manage customer relationships, oversee program execution, ensure on‑time delivery, and align cross‑functional teams to meet contractual obligations, quality standards, and business objectives. Assist in managing customer inquiries, preparing proposals, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of information to drive satisfaction and sales success.
- Engineering & Continuous Improvement: troubleshoot and resolve product issues, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address customer concerns, implement design improvements, and ensure product reliability and performance meet safety, quality, and delivery standards. Lead efforts to identify and eliminate waste, optimize processes, implement lean tools, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Commissioned U.S. Military Officer with a minimum of 4 years of service completed by the start date, up to a maximum of 12 years.
- Honorable discharge upon completion of military obligations.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 4 years of active‑duty status in the last 5 years of service.
- Maximum of 2 years separation from active duty; exceptions for extenuating circumstances.
- Technical bachelor’s degree 8–12 years of officer military service preferred.
- Completion of advanced military training courses such as Flight School, Airborne School, Nuclear Power School, or other career development courses.
