K is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join our team in Beavercreek, OH. This person will be assisting the lead Deployment Engineer with multi-workstream programs, managing projects from initiation to completion, and at the discretion of the lead engineer ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:Typical duties include:
- Takes initiative and assists with the technical leadership of multi-million-dollar projects within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
- Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation.
- Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
- Reports directly to the DI-Network lead deployment engineer
- Oversees network architecture efforts, infrastructure upgrades, and ensure operational continuity, including SD-WAN, and cloud deployments.
- Provides collaboration/coordination with internal/external stakeholders on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provides reports and reviews to the DI-Network lead deployment engineer for approval
- Conducts performance/project analyses to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.
- Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within network discipline at the collegiate level.
- Applies general knowledge of industry practices developed through education or experience.
- Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments.
- Must assist in the management of multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Act as the trusted agent of the lead Deployment Engineer when necessary to guide stakeholder events.
- Location: Onsite
- Travel Requirements: ~25%

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field
- 1-5 years of experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office products
- Strong business and analytical acumen.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to achieve results in interdisciplinary environment.
- Advanced risk management skills to manage the technical and performance risks to a high value operational system.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
- Technical Program Management experience
- Active TS/SCI with previous SAP
