** K ’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. K  is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support planning, development, integration, operation, and evaluation of autonomous systems simulation environment.

The selected candidate will work closely with government, industry, and partners to assess technology maturity, develop integration strategies, and support acquisition planning.

* Key Responsibilities:

** Support simulation-related analysis, requirements development, and systems engineering activities. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including operators, engineers, and acquisition professionals. Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for leadership. Maintain a willingness to accept changing and evolving roles & responsibilities in support of customers’ requirements and needs.

Hybrid 3 days minimum in office

** Minimal 0-20%

* Qualifications:

** Familiarity with requirements management software (Git Lab, Artifactory, Nexus), Test Management, and Defect Tracking (JIRA).Hands-on experience with container technologies, including Docker and Podman, for building, running, and troubleshooting containerized applications.

Familiarity in systems engineering processes (requirements, integration, verification, validation). Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in autonomy development, autonomous systems integration, AI/ML systems, robotics, or advanced mission systems.

Experience with DoD acquisition or military aviation programs.
** Desired

Experience:

** 3+ years of experience in flight test as a discipline engineer or test conductor Prior experience supporting Air Force programs, particularly in Fighter, unmanned systems, or advanced mission systems.

Experience using Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) or Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS) simulator software. Knowledge of digital engineering tools, modeling & simulation, and architecture frameworks (e.g., DoDAF, UAF, MBSE).
