MODEL BASED SYSTEMS ENGINEER- JUNIOR (MBSE)

OverviewQuantum Research International, Inc. (Quantum) provides national defense and federal civilian and industry services in the areas of cybersecurity and information operations, space operations and control, aviation systems, ground, air and missile defense, intelligence programs support, experimentation and test, program management, and audio/visual technology applications.
MissionQuantum Research is seeking a motivated Junior Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE). This role will work as part of an engineering design team developing digital architecture and will support customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The position is on site (no remote/hybrid) and is located in Beavercreek, OH.
Responsibilities- Provide operations and maintenance for the customer's MBSE analytic modernization environment.
- Use systems engineering principles and approaches to solve complex problems.
- Produce and present technical documentation and artifacts.
- At least a Top-Secret clearance. Ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
- BS degree in systems engineering, aerospace, or related technical field.
- Ability to use systems thinking to solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles and approaches.
- Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools (Cameo Systems Modeler, Magic Draw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect).
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks.
- Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes.
- Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes.
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation tools and practices.
- Industry related certification a plus!
