Aerospace Simulation Engineer

Anyar plans to add 3 - 4 Aerospace Simulation Engineers for the design, development, and operations of simulations in our newly formed Wright Patterson AFB office in the next 2 - 3 months. These positions are for a new contract award and will support national threat simulation environments utilized by the Intelligence Community. The customer houses simulation compute enclaves capable of simulating Electro-Optical, Infrared, and Radio frequency (EO/IR/RF) sensors, hardware target simulators, and real-time computation systems used to accomplish simulation and testing of advanced US/foreign aerospace weapons systems, subsystems and integrated concepts.

Statement of Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance, pursuant to 32 CFR 117.10. Accordingly, all applicants must be United States citizens, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.

Job Responsibilities

• Simulation design, development, build-up, and integration
• Test data analysis and reporting
• 6-DOF simulation maintenance
• Experience modeling EO, IR or RF Sensors
• Real-time computation systems

Qualifications

• BS degree in aerospace, mechanical, or related science/engineering degree
• 1 - 3 years' experience developing software models of aerospace systems with applications to air/space based weapon systems
• Experience with estimation of aerodynamic, mass, and propulsion properties using tools such as CAD, Missile Datcom or CFD tools (e.g. VSPAERO, SU2)
• Experience with modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink or software languages such as C, C++, python, JSON
• Experience solving ordinary or partial differential equations using numerical methods or software packages/libraries
• Modeling of weapon systems, subsystems and their operating environments
• Guidance, Navigation and/or Control systems modeling
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DOD security clearance
