K is seeking a post-doctoral applicant to provide chemistry and data analytic support to AFIT Department of Systems Engineering & Management.

* Key Responsibilities:
*
* • Assist with the evaluation of advanced oxidation processes in groundwater remediation systems. Data will be collected from laboratory experiments and computational chemistry software platforms.
• Assist with computational analysis of chemicals present in the water cycle. Determine transformation pathways and reaction mechanisms for chemicals of interest.
• Participate in research group discussions, typically held each week.

* Required Qualifications:

* • BS in Chemistry
• 2+ years in environmental investigation and sampling (soil/water/sediment)

• Published journal article author

* • MS in Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science or Chemisty
• 10+ years in environmental investigation and sampling (soil/water/sediment)
