Role Description The Licensed Hair Stylist & Braider will provide professional hair care services, including cutting, styling, braiding, and treatment services for a diverse clientele in an on-site salon environment located in Beavercreek, OH. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their hair goals, performing customized hair and scalp services, recommending appropriate products from Essentials by V.Rich, and ensuring a welcoming, relaxing experience in line with the salon’s head spa concept.

The role involves maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards, and collaborating with the team to support service excellence and client retention. This is a part-time, on-site role that may include evenings or weekends based on client demand.

Qualifications

• Holds an active license in cosmetology, boutique license, and essential certifications recognized in the State of Ohio. Please do not apply if you haven't obtained your licenses.
• Professional hair care skills, including Hair Styling, Braiding, and overall Hair Care proficiency.
• Foundational Cosmetology knowledge, including a current cosmetology license in the state of Ohio and familiarity with salon health and safety standards.
• Strong Customer Service abilities, with a focus on client satisfaction, rapport building, and repeat business.
• Clear and respectful Communication skills for client consultations, product education, and effective teamwork.
• Experience working with diverse hair types and textures, including protective styles and scalp-focused services.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple appointments, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and integrate brand-specific techniques, services, and product knowledge (including Essentials by V.Rich).
• Previous salon experience or head spa experience is preferred but not required; openness to ongoing training and professional development is essential.
