Position: Enterprise Project Analyst I

The Enterprise Project Analyst I plays a foundational role within the WPCU Project Management Office (PMO), supporting enterprise-wide programs that drive strategic transformation and operational excellence. The Analyst I gathers, documents, validates, and prioritizes requirements across business, regulatory, technical, reporting, and risk domains, serving as the hub for requirements and key activities throughout the full enterprise project lifecycle—from ideation through implementation.

This role partners others to bridge business needs with the documentation of technology-enabled solutions, ensuring alignment between organizational objectives and project outcomes

Working closely with Project Managers, Change Managers, IT Analysts, Enterprise Architects, compliance teams, and business stakeholders, the Analyst I fosters cross-functional collaboration and contributes to process mapping, governance, and audit readiness. The role also supports project data analysis and performance tracking to inform decision-making and helps clarify workflows and stakeholder impacts. This position builds a strong foundation in enterprise analysis, stakeholder engagement, and change enablement, preparing the Analyst I for progression into more senior roles within the PMO and broader strategic functions.

Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Project Requirements Elicitation, Documentation and Validation – Collaborate with business, compliance, technical, and risk stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate enterprise project requirements. Ensure requirements are prioritized, complete, testable, and traceable across the SSDLC and Agile/hybrid project delivery models. Partner to translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, supporting backlog refinement and sprint planning. (40%)
  • Enterprise Project Process and Gap Analysis Support – Support current‑ and future‑state process mapping sessions with SMEs and compliance teams to clarify workflows, handoffs, and member experience impacts. This may include analyzing existing visual models such as data flow diagrams and use case diagrams to identify improvement opportunities and clarify complex system interactions. (20%)
  • Collaboration & Strategic Engagement – Partner with Project Managers, Change Managers, IT Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and business leaders to align requirements with strategic goals and resolve issues. Serve as a bridge between technical and non‑technical stakeholders, contributing to business case reviews, vendor/tool selection, and early‑stage project discovery. While the role is not responsible for technical solutioning, the role is part of ensuring the solution requirements are documented.

  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance – Ensure requirements and deliverables adhere to internal governance frameworks, security policies, and external regulatory standards. Support audit readiness and risk mitigation by maintaining traceability and reporting gaps in policies or controls. (10%)
  • Enterprise Project Reporting, Tools, and PMO Support – Generate insights and track progress using tools such as Planview, Jira, and Service Now. Support PMO reporting needs and contribute to documentation standards, templates, and continuous improvement efforts. (10%)
  • Project Administration and Professional Development – Assist with meeting facilitation, agendas, minutes, and scheduling. Build foundational skills for progression into Analyst II by engaging in PMO initiatives and professional development activities. (5%)
  • Change Enablement Support – Collaborate with Change Management teams to assess stakeholder impacts, support communication planning, and contribute to readiness activities that ensure smooth adoption of project outcomes. (5%)
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in financial services, with exposure to banking products, analysis functions, compliance and governance practices, or enterprise level project support experience is required.
