Description

Leidos is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to support the Parts and Repair Ordering System (PROS7) program. The role involves analysis and evaluation of business challenges, requirement gathering and refinement, and process reengineering for a single‑award IDIQ with a $4.3B ceiling that supports non‑standard items, complex repairs, and specialized technical services for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers across the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Army.

Location & Work Arrangement

Prefer candidates located near Beavercreek, OH for a hybrid environment. Remote candidates are considered if they can travel as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Duties include coordinating with business and technology groups to identify areas for automation and improvement, determining end‑to‑end system and inter‑system requirements, executing user acceptance, and coordinating system controls. The position requires creation, tracking, and storage of requirement artifacts and stakeholder approvals. Responsibilities also involve data management processes such as accessing raw data feeds, building queries and macros, organizing data, and designing reports that present status‑at‑a‑glance visualizations for business performance.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to make effective decisions.
  • Owning reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness with customer focus in resolving data discrepancies.
  • Building and managing related KPIs to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes.
  • Monitoring existing metrics, building new metrics, and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting cross‑functional teams in day‑to‑day execution of program implementation.
  • Generating complex queries to investigate process issues.
  • Innovating to improve customer experience.
Process Analysis

Examining existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and gathering data to understand current processes.

Process Improvement

Developing and recommending solutions to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and achieve key performance indicators.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Working with various teams to understand requirements, gather feedback, and ensure proposed changes align with business objectives.

Documentation and Implementation

Creating process documentation, training materials, and providing support to ensure new processes are understood and followed correctly.

Technology Implementation

Assisting with implementation of new systems and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.

Performance Monitoring

Tracking KPIs to measure effectiveness of process changes and identify areas for further improvement.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. A doctorate in a technical domain is a plus. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship required; must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Proven track record in business systems analysis, technical process development, and system implementation.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing and system controls.
  • Strong background in coordinating with business and technology teams to gather and implement system requirements.
  • In‑depth understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts and their application across a range of programs.
  • Ability to resolve highly complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and guide technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes and regulations (e.g., ITAR, FAR, DFARS).
  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs or similar initiatives.
  • Knowledge of best practices in system analysis and technical process development.
  • Background in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or subcontracts.

Pay Range

$92,300.00 - $ (general guideline; actual compensation may vary).
