Who We Need

We are seeking an Agile Project Manager to support a major U.S. Air Force digital engineering engagement. This role oversees cross‑functional teams, facilitates Agile workflows, and ensures successful delivery of model‑based engineering capabilities, digital transformation activities, and integrated software solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong Agile expertise with experience in defense, aerospace, or government environments. Your work will empower government leaders with near real‑time data needed for effective decision‑making, financial management, and platform governance.

What

You’ll Do
  • Lead Agile project planning, ceremonies, sprint execution, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement across digital engineering teams.
  • Coordinate delivery of model‑based systems engineering (MBSE), system modeling tools, digital thread/digital twin capabilities, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with Air Force stakeholders, technical leads, and engineering teams to define requirements, manage priorities, and deliver mission‑aligned outcomes.
  • Track program scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics to ensure compliance with project plans and Air Force expectations.
  • Facilitate communication across government and contractor teams to ensure alignment on objectives, interfaces, and technical milestones.
  • Promote Agile best practices, Dev Sec Ops  alignment, and iterative delivery models to accelerate adoption of digital engineering processes.
  • Prepare and present status reports, briefings, and documentation for senior leadership within the U.S. Air Force and supporting organizations.
  • Support integration of digital engineering tools, data environments, and enterprise platforms to enhance system lifecycle management.
  • Ensure adherence to Air Force policies, cybersecurity requirements, data governance standards, and digital engineering strategies.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile project or program management.
  • Experience leading technical or engineering teams delivering digital or software‑intensive solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and modern delivery practices.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects within a defense or highly regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field.
  • Experience with U.S. Air Force programs, defense acquisition processes, or government engineering organizations.
  • Knowledge of digital engineering principles, MBSE tools (SysML, Cameo, Rhapsody), digital thread/double concepts, and model‑based workflows.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI‑ACP), Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe certifications.
  • Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops  pipelines, cloud environments, and modern software development practices.
