K  is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with C++ experience and background to be a part of the team that supports the Department of the Air Force advanced air platform testing and rapid development. This is an entry - level role ideal for someone with a strong interest in simulation or defense - related protocols (OMS, GRID, DIS, STANAG) looking for a fast past, on the edge development work .

Qualifications:

Required:

* Education:

Bachelors in C omputer S cience , Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

* Experience:

1 to 3 years of programming and/or development skills
* Security Clearance:
Active DoD Secret clearance
* Experience with CI/CD systems , integration , and security : (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, etc. )
* Exposure to containerization : (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Experience : working with backend logic structures such as behavior or decision trees
* Proficiency in :
Type Script and Vue for frontend development
* Proven ability to : fix bugs and implement small to medium features on both frontend and backend Desired:

Excellent interpersonal and intrateam communication skills
* Improving the system:
Excellent problem-solving skills
* Experience : W ebsocket - based real-time data pipelines
* Domain Experience or interest :
Basic understanding of aircraft dynamics, tactical reasoning, or similar technical domains
* Strong full - stack debugging skills across C++, databases, APIs, and Vue components
