Technical Program Manager
Manage the delivery of advanced digital solutions for an Air Force enterprise system in partnership with Department of the Air Force leadership. Oversee staffing, finances, contract management, and status reporting to both client and corporate leadership. Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams with minimal direction.
Responsibilities- Lead Agile development of project roadmaps and milestones, establishing metrics to track progress.
- Coordinate acquisition support and advanced advisory skills, including thought leadership and strategic communications.
- Provide executive status reporting to client and corporate leadership.
- Monitor team performance and resource allocation across multiple work streams.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to implement secure coding practices and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Work with Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSEs) to apply RMF principles throughout the SDLC.
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross‑functional development teams to achieve project milestones.
- 2+ years of experience leading capture activities for government acquisitions, including DoW contracts and proposal processes.
- End‑to‑end program/project lifecycle management (initiation to closure).
- Knowledge of U.S. DoDI 8510.01, NIST RMF processes, and industry best practices for cybersecurity.
- Strong collaboration skills with development teams and stakeholders to achieve secure coding goals.
- Ability to integrate RMF requirements throughout all SDLC phases.
- Secret clearance required; subject to security investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related Program Management field.
- Risk and vulnerability assessment experience, including SBOM analysis.
- Experience on large defense programs or with major systems integrators.
- Knowledge of Agile Earned Value Management (EVM), budgeting, and project scoping best practices.
- MS or advanced certifications (Project Management Professional, Agile, DoD 8140.03 IAM, Security+).
- TS/SCI clearance, Master’s degree, and advanced writing and presentation skills.
Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. All selected candidates will undergo a security investigation.
CompensationThe projected salary range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ annualized USD. Final compensation depends on location, education, experience, and contract affinity. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
