VDI Engineer Security Clearance

Position: VDI Engineer with Security Clearance
Next Gen Federal Systems, LLC is an innovative technology and professional services provider specializing in advanced software solutions and comprehensive mission and business support services. We are looking for VDI Engineer candidates to work in support of onsite customer uirements:

• Proficient in VDI Platform Engineering & Testing

• Build and maintain gold images, manage multi-session host pools, configure FSLogix profile containers, and implement cost-saving auto-scaling rules.

• Package and deploy applications, integrate Active Directory/AWS Directory Services, administer Work Spaces pools, and configure streaming protocols (WSP/PCoIP).

• Provision and optimize instant clones, manage virtualization storage layers, configure Horizon Connection Servers, and orchestrate hybrid extensions.

• Testing & and establish User Feedback Loops, gather performance metrics (latency, logon times, peripheral compatibility), and refine virtual desktop templates based on structured user feedback.

Skills Required:

• CompTIA Security+

• BS in Information Technology or closely related field Security Requirements:

• US Citizenship Required

• Active TS/SCI clearance held by the DoD required Preferred

Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified:
Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Sys Ops Administrator

• VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM) or Omnissa Horizon credentials

Preferred Experience and Technical

Prerequisites:

• Experience configuring and operating 10

ZiG Manager or equivalent thin-client deployment consoles.

• Strong technical communication skills, with experience drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical design blueprints, and system whitepapers.

• Documented experience executing STIG checklists and supporting CTO/ATO documentation packages in highly regulated enterprise environments. About Next Gen:
