As an AI Technology/Strategic Specialist, this position will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals in support of our Air Force client at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This role is onsite and will be critical in ensuring effective AI implementation, oversight, and strategy that supports our client’s mission. Join us and be part of our mission to make a difference!
SOMERESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Facilitate AI strategy and present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- Spearhead the implementation of machine learning models to automate data processes, enhance predictive analytics, and utilize advanced analytics to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
- Partner with development team to create, validate, deploy, and monitor AI solutions that are human-centered AI experiences; including prompt and response patterns, transparency queues, escalation paths, and appropriate human oversight.
- Establish key performance and success metrics on performance to ensure AI initiatives deliver clear business value.
- Research and track emerging AI tools, regulatory changes, and responsible AI guidelines to ensure safe and ethical deployment.
- Confirm solutions comply with AF security, privacy, and responsible AI standards and integrate reliably with platform and data infrastructure.
- Position may require up to 15% travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data analytics or related field (7 years of technical AI engineering may be substituted for degree).
- Proficient with AI models (e.g., LLMs), cloud consumption frameworks, and data tools (Python, SQL, or BI visualization platforms).
- Strong presentation skills and exceptional ability to present technical strategies to non-technical executives and stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines independently, as well as part of a team.
