Systems Administrator
Next Gen Federal Systems, LLC is an innovative technology and professional services provider specializing in advanced software solutions and comprehensive mission and business support services.
We are looking for System Administrator candidates toworkin support ofonsite customer atWPAFB.
- Work with the engineering team to work cross-functionally across the ISSO, IO, and Operations organization
- Manage and administer Thin Clients (AWS Cloud Hosted)
- Deploy, configure, patch, andmaintainthe 10
ZiG Manager server instance hosted inside the AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) - Develop, push, and test operating system configurations to physical thin and zero client hardware devices
- Administer automated security patches, manage SSL/TLS certificates for secure client-to-manager communication, and oversee device enrollment
- Build configurations to repurpose legacy desktop hardware into secure, streamlined thin-client endpoints
- Strong experience working with VDI platforms and thin clients (AVD, AWS, Work spaces, Horizon)
- CompTIA Security+
- BS in Information Technology or closely related field
- US Citizenship Required
- Active TS/SCI clearance held by the DoD required
- Microsoft Certified:
Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty - AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Sys Ops Administrator
- VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM) or Omnissa Horizon credentials
- Experience configuring and operating 10
ZiG Manager or equivalent thin-client deployment consoles - Strong technical communication skills, with experience drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical design blueprints, and system whitepapers
- Documented experience executing STIG checklists and supporting CTO/ATO documentation packages in highly regulated enterprise environments
