What You Will DoPlans, coordinates, and governs change and release activities for FMBT interface development and production support. Develops release plans, implementation steps, approval packages, rollback plans, deployment coordination, and readiness communications aligned to VA and FMBT change management processes.
What You Will Need- 8+ years of change management, release management, deployment coordination, or IT service management experience
- Experience supporting Change Control Boards, release readiness reviews, implementation planning, approval workflows, and production deployments
Experience documenting release schedules, change records, impact assessments, risk considerations, implementation steps, and backout plans
- Experience coordinating releases across development, test, security, configuration management, operations, and stakeholder teams
- Experience supporting defect fixes, software upgrades, new interface releases, and implementation changes across the project lifecycle
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA access
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments
- Experience supporting Federal IT programs preferred
- Experience supporting enterprise application implementations preferred
- Experience using Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Agility, Git Hub, or similar tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders
- Momentum Financials/iFAMS or federal ERP release experience preferred
- ITIL, SAFe, or release/change management certification preferred
- Experience with VA Enterprise Change Management or comparable federal change control processes
The annual salary range for this position is $86,500.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
