Position: Operations Supervisor at Quality Quartz Engineering

We're looking for an Operations Supervisor to lead production teams, drive continuous improvement, and help deliver high-quality products to our customers on time, every time. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to influence daily operations, develop team members, improve processes, and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing organization.

What

You'll Do
  • Lead and motivate production teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Coordinate staffing, production schedules, equipment utilization, and workflow to maximize efficiency and first-time throughput.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees through training, performance management, and career development.
  • Drive operational excellence by analyzing performance metrics and implementing process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including productivity, downtime, scrap, rework, and cost performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and production procedures.
  • Support budget management and contribute to achieving operational and financial objectives.
What You Bring

Education & Knowledge High School Diploma or GED 3–5 years of manufacturing or production experience Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Strong communication and problem solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment Proficiency with computers and business software applications Skills & Abilities Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies Experience managing production budgets and workforce planning People focused leader who enjoys coaching and developing others Results driven and committed to operational excellence Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment Collaborative and skilled at building positive working relationships Passionate about continuous improvement and finding better ways to work

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to move throughout the facility and between departments frequently throughout the day
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
