• 5+ years of marketing or internal communications experience
• Intranet management experience - using SharePoint as a communication platform
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Bachelors degree in related field

The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and managing internal communications that drive employee engagement, support organizational initiatives, and reinforce company culture. This role serves as the primary owner of the organization's SharePoint-based intranet, creating, publishing, and maintaining content while ensuring a user-friendly and engaging employee experience.

The position also acts as the Microsoft 365 subject matter expert for the communications team, leveraging tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Forms, and Power Automate to streamline communication processes and improve efficiency. In addition to written communications, the specialist supports digital signage, incident communications, and light graphic design projects. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, comfortable learning new technologies, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage and optimize the company’s SharePoint-based intranet
• Create and distribute internal communications, announcements, and employee engagement content
• Maintain content calendars and communication plans
