Wash Associate

A Mike’s Carwash Wash Associate is on the front line of customer service. They will perform the roles of Service Advisor, Director, and ensure the facility is always clean and prepared for customers according to our high standards.

• Execute the Mike’s Purpose. Provide the best value for our boss, the customer, by delivering a clean, quick car wash every time, with a smile.
• Service Advising:
  Greet and advise customers of Mike’s products/services and process sales transactions.
• Directing:
  Safely prep and direct the vehicle into the wash tunnel.
• Abide by our Values:

• Customer Satisfaction:
  Maintain the interior and exterior of the property so customers always feel comfortable. Keep all customer-related material stocked and clean, rain or shine.
• Training:
  Participate in extensive training to keep your skills up to date. Ask for assistance from the management team if you have questions regarding the Service Advisor or Director job expectations.

• Must work all scheduled shifts unless notified otherwise by management.
• Attend scheduled Team Meetings.
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 days:
  Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the employee to communicate verbally and in writing, hear at a conversational level, and use vision for depth perception and color distinction. The employee will stand or walk continuously and may occasionally sit, stoop, reach, or twist at the waist.

Repetitive movements and use of hands for gripping are required. The employee may occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. for up to 3 feet and may be required to pull up to 10 lbs. for up to 10 feet and carry up to 50 lbs. for 10 feet. The employee may also bend, kneel, and balance; stairs and ladders are occasionally involved.

The work environment may involve indoor and outdoor work in temperatures ranging from 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The employee may frequently work with chemicals and wear eye or hearing protection. The wash associate may rarely work with machinery with moving parts and will wear gloves as appropriate.
