Assistant Store Leader- Operations; Green

Position Overview

Assistant Store Leader of Operations leads and supports the Store Leader by directing activities required to achieve store goals, including best‑class guest service, sales objectives, operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation, while driving associate and guest engagement.

You will provide guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well‑maintained store environment.

• Receives feedback and fosters dialogue around solutions
• Develops associates through an individualized approach by matching talent with tasks, delegating, and challenging on results
• Fosters team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognizing individual contributions
• Leads by managing through change and adversity
• Makes recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations of team members based on performance
• Consistently meets or exceeds store and individual goals and contributes to the store’s overall goals
• Engages guests and makes their shopping experience exceptional
• Co‑leads floor set/refresh management
• Manages and oversees scheduling
• Manages back‑of‑house organization
• Manages shipment and product preparation process (steaming, hanging, etc.)
• Plans and manages merchandise markdown process
• Manages supply orders, maintenance, and cleaning
• Manages inventory/damage audits and banking & loss prevention systems
• Trains new associates on operational processes
• Co‑manages payroll and is responsible for store’s financial performance
• Is responsible for decisions regarding store operations and planning
• Controls workflow through successful planning and delegation
• Executes task directives within designated time frames
• Completes opening and closing procedures
• Adheres to loss prevention practices and reports potential incidents to ensure shortage control to protect company assets
• Utilizes and manages weekly reporting to track, analyze, and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales
• Communicates effectively with executive team
• Maintains an awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicates with team
• Communicates performance observations and offers feedback to the District Leader

• 1 year Retail Management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently
• May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance
