Sam’s Club #6517 is seeking a dedicated associate to manage Freezer, Cooler and Deli areas. The role balances stocking, temperature control, and customer service to maintain high-quality products and a safe environment.

You will make an impact by:

• Ensuring high-quality products are taken care of and available for our members
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products.
• Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area

Additional responsibilities include:

• Maintaining safety of the facility by following all safety standards and procedures, including forklift spotting and handling hazardous materials.
• Managing the sales floor and merchandise presentation, handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Providing member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting the company’s products and services.
• Following food handling policies, operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment, and following Cold Chain procedures when stocking merchandise.
• Cleaning freezer/cooler/deli area, monitoring equipment operation, and reporting issues to management.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour.
