Security Officer/Guard

• Security Officers/Guards observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequently sit, stand, and walk, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

• Security positions require you to pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

No experience is necessary. If you have a background in retail, food service, or hospitality, you are a great fit for this role; if not, training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry will be provided.

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Often, Security Officers provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
