Maintenance Tech 2nd Shift

Facilities Maintenance Technician (Beavercreek Site)

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including induction vacuum furnaces, electric furnaces, natural gas kilns, steam autoclaves, leaching autoclaves, robotic shell line operation, mixers, injection machines, and cure ovens.

• Repair and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment using hand tools, power tools, or precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and components; basic maintenance of plant HVAC, chillers, and rooftop units.
• Study building plans, schematics, and working drawings to determine required work aids and sequence of repairs or installations.
• Support cell moves, in‑house rigging efforts, and building projects.
• Order and track material required for repairs.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, scissor lift, boom, and manlifts.
• Comply with LOTO and other safety regulations.
• Track maintenance performance daily and report monthly to leadership.

• Experience reading technical manuals and schematic drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation toward co‑workers, contractors, OEM representatives, and technicians.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance during required meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of two years’ experience in diverse maintenance disciplines.
• At least 18 years of age at the time of joining; this role may involve hazardous operations and possible shift work beyond a standard workweek.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate electrical knowledge in compliance with NEC.
• Maintenance and/or Electrical Certifications.
• HMI and PLC experience; ability to troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Rockwell PLC controllers.
• Proficient PC and mobile phone usage.
• Prior team and leadership experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical control schematics.
• Experience installing or repairing electrical service and mechanical equipment, especially vacuum systems and automated equipment.

Additional information:

• Ability to work overtime as needed; must be available for emergency on‑call list.
