As a back-end developer, you will resolve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications.

• Use Python for coding.
• Design, scope, and implement end-to-end AWS-based tools.
• Develop APIs.
• Process EO/IR images, exploit data, and develop analysis algorithms.
• Create solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years experience, or a Master’s degree and 2+ years experience.

• Experience with AWS-based tools and API development.
• Experience in EO/IR image processing, data exploitation, or algorithm development.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.

• Experience with container technology (Docker or Podman).
• Experience with Python for AI/ML solutions such as PyTorch and Tensor Flow.
• Experience with agentic workflows and LLMs, such as Claude or GPT.

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $ (annualized USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs.

• Remote: may require in‑person duties at Booz Allen or customer facilities.
• Hybrid: expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently; may also require visits to customer facilities.
