OpportunityAs a back-end developer, you will resolve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment. Your solutions will consider the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications.
- Optimize and maintain No
SQL databases. - Use Python for coding.
- Design, scope, and implement end-to-end AWS-based tools.
- Develop APIs.
- Process EO/IR images, exploit data, and develop analysis algorithms.
- Create solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years experience, or a Master’s degree and 2+ years experience.
- Experience with No
SQL databases and Python. - Experience with AWS-based tools and API development.
- Experience in EO/IR image processing, data exploitation, or algorithm development.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Experience with container technology (Docker or Podman).
- Experience with Python for AI/ML solutions such as PyTorch and Tensor Flow.
- Experience with agentic workflows and LLMs, such as Claude or GPT.
Applicants must have TS/SCI clearance; applicants may need to undergo a security investigation and eligibility checks for classified information.
CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $ (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, retirement, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
Work Model- Remote: may require in‑person duties at Booz Allen or customer facilities.
- Hybrid: expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently; may also require visits to customer facilities.
- Onsite: employees will primarily work at Booz Allen or customer facilities.
