The Opportunity: As an experienced AI engineer, you will develop, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled solutions using advanced agentic frameworks. You will work with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world‑class systems that transform Air Force operations. Your role will include training, testing, deploying, and maintaining models that learn from data, as well as designing secure, scalable data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms.
Requirements- 2+ years of experience building production‑grade software in Python, Type Script, or Java with APIs and data services (FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, or SQL).
- Proven experience developing and deploying AI‑enabled applications such as LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows to solve mission problems.
- Experience building secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS, including governed ingest, file exchange, data catalog, metadata, and data‑mesh style data products.
- Ability to design event‑driven integrations and workflow automation (e.g., asynchronous messaging or audit logging) to move from insight to action.
- Experience implementing MLOps or Dev Sec Ops practices such as CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, or model evaluation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science.
- Secret clearance required.
- Experience working with geospatial or 3D data (point clouds, LiDAR, photogrammetry, or digital‑twin models).
- Experience integrating sensor streams or IoT telemetry and edge‑to‑cloud data flows (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or equivalent).
- Experience deploying software, data, or ML pipelines in disconnected, air‑gapped, or classified environments.
- Experience with cross‑domain data handling constraints and RMF or STIG‑aligned delivery.
- Experience with AI‑assisted software development tools (code copilots, automated tests, secure‑by‑design patterns).
- TS/SCI clearance.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
