Role Overview
As a back‑end developer at Booz Allen, you will solve problems with end‑to‑end solutions in a fast, agile environment. You will help create systems that make a difference, from vision to production‑ready deployment, while learning new tools and techniques and identifying system improvements.
ResponsibilitiesWrite, modify, and maintain high‑quality software applications.
Design, optimize, and maintain No
SQL databases.
Develop and maintain AWS‑based tools and end‑to‑end design.
Build and manage APIs.
Process EO/IR imagery and develop data‑exploitation or analysis algorithms.
Collaborate with teams to solve complex problems.
Qualifications- 4+ years of experience designing, modifying, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
- 4+ years of experience designing, optimizing, and maintaining No
SQL databases. - Experience with Python coding.
- Experience with end‑to‑end design, scoping, and implementation of AWS‑based tools.
- Experience with API development.
- Experience in EO/IR image processing, data exploitation, or analysis algorithm development.
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience with container technology, including Docker or Podman.
- Experience with Python coding for AI/ML solutions such as PyTorch and Tensor Flow.
- Experience working with agentic workflows and LLMs, such as Claude or GPT.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation & BenefitsProjected salary range: $69,300.00 – $ (annualized USD).
