PositionSummary
The Springs Living is seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team! This position is responsible for ensuring that resident’s accounts are accurate and that the accounting records reflect appropriate revenue and cash receipts.
Primary Purposes- Ensure the timely and accurate billing and collection of rent and other services from our residents
- Audit Medicaid billing for both private and state pay
- Provide guidance and training to the community Business Office Managers in our accounts receivable system and with the application of The Springs Living policies and procedures
- At least 3 years of accounts receivable experience
- Knowledge of business processes and Accounting Principles
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from community and accounting staff, residents, and the family members
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form
- Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook applications
- Experience and proficiency with accounting systems
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
