Location: Beaverton, OR (100% Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $120,000 DOE

CV Resources is partnering with a well-established, growing organization in the senior living industry to identify an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a large, multi-state workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on payroll leader who enjoys improving processes, leading a team, and ensuring accurate, compliant payroll operations in a complex, high-volume environment.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day payroll function for approximately 2,000+ employees across multiple states.
  • Oversee full-cycle, semi-monthly payroll processing while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Manage and mentor the payroll team, providing leadership and operational support.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership on payroll-related initiatives and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, off-cycle payrolls, garnishments, tax reporting, year-end processing, and payroll reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve payroll operations as the organization continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of payroll management experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
  • Experience leading payroll teams and managing complex payroll operations.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll tax compliance.
  • Experience with UKG is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • CPP certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while also driving strategic process improvements.
