We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Beaverton, OR. This is an entry-level accounting position that will support a variety of accounting functions, with a primary focus on accounts payable and bank statement oversight.
Compensation: $19/hourJob Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Process payments to multiple vendors in a timely manner
- Communicate and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors
- Research, identify, and resolve discrepancies
- Verify accounting entries and reconcile balances to reports
- Prepare and issue payments by check or wire transfer
- Assist with additional accounting tasks and projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent accounting experience will also be considered
- 0–3 years of accounting experience or other relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and research skills
- Highly organized and task-oriented
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
