About Us
We are a pediatric speech therapy clinic that hires fun, kind staff to help our community of children improve their skills. We provide Speech and Occupational Therapy to children 0-18 years old. Our mission is to help kids live their best lives! We do this by listening to our families, providing excellent care, and ensuring strong communication throughout the patient's experience.
This position will be full time at our Beaverton office: 13635 NW Cornell Rd., Suite 160, Portland, OR 97229.
Our front desk is where our families and patients first come into our space and feel welcome to be with us.

Responsibilities- Receptionist:
First point of contact for families at the clinic. - Client Interaction:
Greet clients and families warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Address any questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Take initiative in helping parents, kids, and staff in our clinic. - Appointment Management:
Schedule and confirm appointments for therapists. Manage the appointment calendar to optimize utilization of therapists' time. This includes scheduling weekly therapy sessions and re-scheduling when patients call in. We utilize an EMR system, Prompt. Appointments are requested both by phone/text, and by online schedule requests. - Communication:
Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner. Provide information about services, appointment availability, and general inquiries. - Attention to Detail:
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of administrative work, including scheduling accuracy, data entry, insurance verification, documentation review, and patient communications. Ensures information is entered correctly and consistently, proactively identifies discrepancies, and follows through to resolution. - Administrative Support:
Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, data entry, and maintaining client records. Ensure all client information is accurate and up-to-date. - Billing and Payments:
Process payments, issue receipts, and handle billing inquiries. Coordinate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely billing. - Office Coordination:
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting room area. Order office supplies and ensure that the office is stocked and well-maintained. Ability to handle multi-tasking demands of the front desk. Strong attention to detail. - Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive client information with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus. - Experience:
Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or therapy setting. Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.
