Job Title: Demand Planner

Location: Beaverton, OR 97005

Duration: 8+ months, with possible extension

Work Model: Onsite (traditional hybrid model with Fridays remote)

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Planner to support North America Basketball planning. This role is critical to shaping and delivering consumer demand through multi-season financial, inventory, and revenue planning. You will work cross-functionally within a highly matrixed environment to drive data-backed decisions that optimize inventory health, margin, and marketplace performance.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers, deeply understands retail metrics, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and brings curiosity and enthusiasm to a fast-paced planning environment.

• Lead multi-season operating plans across Sport, Gender, Channel, and Product Engine dimensions
• Create and manage top-down financial targets including Consumer Demand, Revenue, Margin, and Inventory
• Align assortment plans with operating plans to support long-range strategic priorities
• Translate consumer demand signals, marketplace trends, and in-season performance into actionable insights
• Define location-level (Geography, Channel, Sport) demand, receipt, revenue, and inventory plans
• Identify and recommend cross-sport tradeoff actions to optimize demand, margin, and inventory health
• Partner closely with Finance, Planning, Marketplace, and other cross-functional teams to align forecasts and communicate results to leadership
• Support end-to-end inventory forecasting, including liquidation and demand shaping strategies

• 5+ years of experience in retail planning, merchandising, business planning, or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large data sets
• Deep understanding of key retail metrics including:
• Retail Sales
• Sell-Through (ST%)
• Weeks of Supply (WOS)
• Inventory
• Revenue
• Margin
• Ability to efficiently manipulate, analyze, and interpret data to inform decisions
• Strong soft skills with the ability to influence and collaborate in a highly matrixed environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred
• Equivalent experience (5+ years) will be considered in lieu of a degree

• Prior experience working with large, complex organizations
• Previous experience in a global or North America-focused planning role
• Strong understanding of consumer demand planning and marketplace dynamics
• Experience supporting or partnering with supply chain and finance teams

• Data-driven, commercially minded, and consumer-focused
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities
• Curious, proactive, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team culture
• Able to translate insights into clear actions that drive results
