Aquent is seeking a Product Sourcing Analyst to join our client, a leading ecommerce retail organization supporting product creation and global sourcing strategy. This contract role helps determine where products are manufactured, how production is allocated across factories, and how product costs are optimized.

You’ll partner with product creation, supply chain, and business teams to analyze sourcing data, support manufacturing decisions, and help drive cost-effective production strategies for apparel and footwear products.

• Support factory allocation and sourcing decisions for apparel and/or footwear products
• Help evaluate manufacturing tradeoffs such as cost, capacity, and production timelines
• Assist in optimizing production planning and sourcing strategies
• Support product creation teams with sourcing data and recommendations

• Assist with product costing analysis and retail math calculations that impact margin and profitability
• Analyze cost structures and production data to identify trends and opportunities
• Support decision-making related to cost efficiency and product profitability

• Build and maintain Excel models, reports, and dashboards (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, calculations)
• Analyze production, cost, and sourcing data to identify insights and recommend solutions
• Track and manage data related to sourcing and manufacturing activities

• Partner with product creation, supply chain, and business stakeholders across a matrixed organization
• Work closely with a collaborative team of 10‑15 members
• Support sourcing strategy and product creation processes through data-driven insights

• Create presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations
• Share insights and support decision-making with internal stakeholders

• 3+ years of experience in product sourcing, supply chain, or product creation
• Knowledge of apparel and/or footwear manufacturing, textiles, or product development processes
• Experience supporting factory allocation, sourcing decisions, or product costing
• Advanced Excel skills:
  Formulas, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic calculations and data analysis
• Strong understanding of retail math (margin, cost analysis, pricing impact)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills – ability to interpret data and drive solutions
• Experience working cross‑functionally in a collaborative or matrixed environment
• Bachelor’s degree (highly preferred)

• Data visualization experience (Tableau or Power BI)
• Experience building presentations or business decks (PowerPoint)
• Previous experience working in apparel, footwear, retail, or consumer goods supply chains
• Experience with global sourcing or vendor/factory management
• Experience working in fast‑paced ecommerce or retail environments
