Overview
Are you enthusiastic about building products that create meaningful classroom impact with a strong belief in science education? At Vernier Science Education, we advance science education by empowering educators and inspiring learners. We’re seeking a Product Manager, K-12 to help shape innovative STEM solutions used by educators and students across elementary, middle, and high school classrooms.
This is a rare opportunity to do true go-to-market product management in EdTech. You’ll own product strategy and roadmap direction while partnering closely with sales, marketing, customer success, curriculum, and engineering teams to bring impactful learning solutions to market. This is not a product owner role focused solely on feature delivery. Instead, you’ll spend significant time engaging directly with teachers, administrators, and customers to deeply understand classroom needs and translate those insights into product direction and market impact.
The ideal candidate brings a strong product mindset, customer curiosity, and the ability to balance educator needs, business priorities, and technical considerations. Success in this role is measured not only by products launched, but by the educational outcomes and experiences created for teachers and students.

- Maintain a high standard of usability, reliability, and accessibility across products.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with engineering, hardware design, curriculum development, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.
- Drive the end‑to‑end product lifecycle—from ideation and development to launch and iteration.
- Serve as a key point of contact as customer or product issues arise.
- Sales and Marketing Enablement
- Empower sales and marketing teams with product positioning, messaging, and artifacts that drive new customer acquisition.
- Participate as the product expert in prospect sales meetings (virtually and on‑site, as needed).
- Regularly solicit feedback from sales and marketing teams to improve market awareness and reduce friction in the sales process.
- Customer Success Enablement
- Work closely with the customer success team to ensure products are successfully adopted and achieve the expected product outcomes.
- Regularly solicit feedback from customer success representatives to drive improvements back into the product that improve the customer experience.
- Customer and Market Insight
- Follow organizational frameworks to lead user research, interviews, and classroom observations to deeply understand educator needs and student outcomes.
- Represent Vernier at customer meetings, education conferences, and pilot testing engagements.
