Project Coordinator

The Senior Project Coordinator (Sr. PC) position supports the Project Manager (PM) in project execution in the Client Services department and assists the PM in ensuring consistent, superior client experience. The Sr. PC is a subject matter expert for the team of Project Coordinators (PC) in Client Services and will often lead, mentor, or help support training for other PCs. In addition to helping support the PM in overall project execution, the Sr.

PC will partner with several internal key departments including, but not limited to:
Data Services;
Software Engineering;
Print/Mail Services;
Contact Center;
Disbursements; and Claims Operations.

The Senior Project Coordinator will:

  • Act as back-up to Project Manager or Associate Project Manager, meet project requirements (kick-off meetings, deadline management, client status reporting and other necessary project communication, and coordinates with the various operational teams) to deliver all project deliverables on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards
  • Respond to client communications timely and accurately; understand client needs and feedback, collaborate and consult with clients and/or support project management team in doing so; follow up and communicate client's needs internally
  • Provide project reporting, perform analysis of reporting to ensure quality and contextualize results for client, assist in development of business processes and procedures
  • Work with internal operational groups throughout the projects' life cycles and coordinating deliverables to meet project objectives
  • Assist with accurate forecasting of planned revenue based on anticipated stages of work
  • Provide training and mentorship to other team members within Client Services
  • Help support internal strategic initiatives and projects by acting as a Subject Matter Expert on behalf of Client Services

This position is responsible for fostering a team environment and building cooperation between client services team members, and other departments to provide the highest quality service standards. A critical component of the job is to manage and resolve complex tasks.

Qualifications and requirements include:

  • 1+ year experience as a Project Coordinator with direct client/customer contact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, calm demeanor
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to efficiently gather and process information in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Bachelor's Degree OR other relevant industry experience is preferred
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
