Business Analyst, Data Analyst
We’re looking for a Business Analyst who can take complex sales and planning data, make sense of it, and translate it into clear stories that leadership actually understands. This is not a forecasting or traditional planning role—you’ll be the aggregator and storyteller of plans and forecasts built by other teams. You’ll sit at the center of a matrixed organization, pulling data, finding insights, building compelling narratives, and driving alignment across global and regional sales teams.
PositionDetails
- Location:
Client headquarters (on-site) - Schedule:
4/1 hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
- Build Compelling Business Stories:
Transform complex financial and performance data into clear, executive-ready narratives and recurring updates. You’ll help leadership understand trends, risks, opportunities, and what it all means for the business. - Lead Monthly Business Reviews:
Own the monthly business review process, pull and validate data, build content, facilitate discussions with global and geography sales planning teams, and drive the narrative. - Manage Bookings Reporting:
Drive bookings report execution by creating timelines, coordinating inputs, ensuring data accuracy and alignment, and delivering polished, analysis-backed content. - Ensure Data Accuracy:
Validate data, identify gaps, reconcile inputs across teams, and work with stakeholders to resolve disconnects so everyone’s working from the same source of truth. - Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work regularly with about 20 people across the Global Sales Planning team, Geography Sales teams, and senior leadership. You’ll be the connector who keeps everyone aligned and moving forward.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an analyst role
- Proven ability to look at data and tell a clear story (this is the heart of the role)
- Strong skills transforming data into something concrete and explainable
- Expert-level Excel skills: pivot tables, formulas, vlookups, advanced functions
- Ability to transform data into visual representations (charts, dashboards, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience building polished decks and executive presentations
- Comfort managing multiple work streams and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed organization
- Familiarity with AI tools and/or Tableau for data visualization
- Experience delivering or leading monthly business reviews
- Background in sales analytics or business planning environments
- Knowledge of sports, athletic wear, or retail business models
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational discipline
- Genuine curiosity about data and what it reveals
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across levels
- Collaboration instincts—you thrive working with cross-functional teams
- The ability to turn ambiguity into clarity and complexity into actionable insights
This role is about aggregating, analyzing, and storytelling—not about building or owning forecasts. You’ll work with plans and forecasts built by other teams, synthesize them into a cohesive narrative, and ensure alignment across global and regional stakeholders. If you love data but want the narrative and relationship‑building aspects of planning work, this is your role.
About The TeamYou’ll be part of the Global Sales Planning team supporting Sports divisions, working closely with Geography Sales teams and senior leadership. This is a highly collaborative environment where your ability to connect people, align around data, and drive clarity will be immediately valued.
