Nike's Global Sustainability team works across climate and environment, people and human rights, supply chain compliance, sustainability reporting, marketplace sustainability and other areas to reduce environmental impacts and strengthen responsible business practices.

NIKE, Inc. is hiring a Global Sustainability Graduate Intern to join its Global Sustainability team at the Philip H. Knight campus in Beaverton, Oregon.

This is a 10-week paid graduate internship designed for candidates who are passionate about sustainability and Nike and want to contribute to projects that connect sustainability with business, manufacturing, operations and marketplace initiatives.

The intern will work with teams across Nike and lead one or more projects involving multiple stakeholders. The role provides an opportunity to apply strategic thinking, research, problem-solving and project management skills to sustainability challenges that can influence business decisions.

As a Global Sustainability Graduate Intern, you may contribute to one or more of Nike's sustainability focus areas, including:

• Engagement
• Geo Sustainability
• Marketplace Sustainability
• People & Human Rights
• Supply Chain Compliance
• Sustainability Compliance & Reporting

Previous internship projects have included developing an enterprise strategy for incorporating carbon offsets into climate planning, creating a sustainability playbook for major running events and developing strategies to strengthen sustainability efforts at distribution centers.

You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across Nike, analyze information and datasets, identify themes and insights, develop recommendations and communicate findings to diverse audiences, including senior leaders.

Candidates must be enrolled in a Business/MBA and/or Environmental Science graduate program and have an expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028
.

At least 2 years of work experience is required.

A background in areas such as social and environmental sustainability, operations, supply chain, analytics, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, textiles, finance or retail is preferred.

The successful candidate should have general sustainability knowledge or experience related to areas such as corporate responsibility, climate, natural resources, circularity, people and human rights or related sustainability topics.

Experience working with large datasets, identifying themes, making decisions and translating analysis into clear business stories is valuable.

Candidates should demonstrate strong project management, problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The role also requires the ability to work cross-functionally, influence teams within a highly matrixed organization and present effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.

Nike is looking for a self-starter who is comfortable working with ambiguity and demonstrates a bias for action. Candidates should have an inquisitive, growth-focused and process-oriented mindset, alongside a clearly demonstrated passion for sustainability and Nike.
