Job Description Lead Product Designer – ApparelLocation: Beaverton, OR (On‑site 4 days; Remote Fridays)

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team for a high‑impact leave coverage role. This position is for a creative visionary who can bridge the gap between technical innovation and cultural relevance, ensuring that every garment is as functional as it is inspiring.
Who We Are Looking ForYou are a seasoned designer with a deep obsession for garment architecture. We are prioritizing candidates with 5+ years of professional product design experience, particularly those with a background in technical performance gear.
Your Toolkit:
- Technical Mastery: Expert‑level knowledge of apparel construction, tailoring, and graphic application for performance‑driven products.
- Digital Fluency: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud. Familiarity with CLO 3D or Vizcom is highly desirable.
- Strategic Communication: The ability to translate complex design concepts into clear, focused narratives for cross‑functional leadership.
- Versatility: You are equally skilled at physical sample mock‑ups and high‑fidelity digital rendering.
You will be responsible for guiding the creative process through the design season, ensuring products meet technical standards, cost requirements, and deadlines.
- Full‑Spectrum Design: Creating a range of products from technical base layers to outerwear across multiple categories.
- Prototyping & Iteration: Reviewing prototypes and managing revisions to ensure elite craftsmanship and fit.
- Strategic Storytelling: Developing and presenting seasonal design concepts that align with long‑term brand strategy.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Working lockstep with developers, product managers, and innovation teams to bring complex ideas to life.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a professional apparel design role (Performance/Sport industry experience is a significant plus).
Education: Degree in Apparel Design or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience and training will be considered.
Mindset: A passion for visual culture and a collaborative spirit. You must be able to work efficiently and autonomously while remaining an integral part of a larger team.
Logistics: This is an on‑site role at our headquarters, following a standard Monday–Thursday on‑site schedule with remote flexibility on Fridays.
